Craft covers anything related to creating, maintaining non-technological crafts. Anything from woodworking or blacksmithing to charcoal sketching. Generally the moment it's powered, it defaults to Engineering. Anything artistic (music, Fine arts, dance,...) is part of this skill.

It's a General skill, so specializations can provide a way to add extra flavour to your character or flesh out the background. Using it generally simulates the fact that, while you've had no real training, you may have some skill or talent doing these crafts

Overcome: The crafts skill allows you to create "crafts", presuming you have the time and tools you need.

C

Create advantage: You can use Crafts to create aspects representing features of a crafted object, pointing out useful features or strengths you can use to your advantage (Solid Construction, Beautiful flourish) or a vulnerability for you to exploit (Flaw in the woodwork, Hasty Work). Creating Crafts advantages can also take the form of quick and dirty sabotage or jury-rigging crafted objects in the scene.

A

Attack: Craft is seldom used to attack, except maybe in rap-battles or dance-offs.

D

Defend: Defending crafts or works of arts is generally more of a Rapport thing.

Stunts

  • Gifted You are gifted and have a natural ability with the Arts. You can use the general skill as if it was a specialization, as long as it's art-related.
  • Musical Genius From a young age creating music and learning new instruments came natural to you. You can use the general skill as a specialization as long as it is music-related.
  • Great Improviser Your skill in creating tools has given you a great eye in finding the perfect alternative when proper tools aren't available. You can supply yourself or an ally with the required tools given a bit of time, without either of you having access to the proper tools (imprisoned,...).
