The idea behind this setting is to be able to use real-life locations and events to provide a kind of globe-trotting experience for the players, with many hooks in real-life. The enormous amount of mythology, folklore and conspiracies allow for a rich setting and thousands of possible adventure and story-hooks. The format of the setting, being mission-based from a central agency, allows for a nice pacing, with an overarching storyline tying the campaign together. The general setup will be that the mission gets introduced to the players, they prepare, travel to the location, do some investigating and legwork, followed by (over the top) action. There should be ample opportunities for all play-styles and time to shine for everyone in the party.
