Witches can call upon the natural world all around them, and shape and bend it gently towards their will. Some witches have found that they can do this forcefully, and worst of all, influence the minds of others. Such power has its toll though, and they ironically tend to lose control of themselves in the end, becoming mere monsters obsessed with controlling and bending other creatures to their will. Witches can charm Natural creatures, call upon Spirits for help and shape the Natural world around them as well as protect those around them against unnatural effects.

To become a Witch you can choose to either use your High Concept or an Aspect. If you only spend an Aspect you are limited to only summoning at half your summoning skill.

The Church's stance

The Church has always had a difficult relationship with Witches. Accepting them would mean agreeing that there are other powers out there than God, which is dangerous to their Hegemony. Many have tried to wipe them out but the numbers of real Witches have stayed pretty consistent throughout the ages. Thousands of innocents have died though, so the Church eventually stopped trying. The one exception are rogue Witches: Witches that are using their powers to force and bend nature and others to their will, because they will eventually turn into a Hag, a malicious creature that can end up killing thousands when left unchecked.

Sometimes Witches will voluntarily work for the Church, other times they're there to atone for their sins (voluntarily or not), in the hopes of making up for when they went rogue.
