Requisition
Requisition describes your character’s clout with the Church, the amount of trust and bureaucratic power it wields to get the resources it needs to complete the mission. This does not represent cold hard cash, though that can be requisitioned, but the amount of materials, components, weapons and such the character can "requisition" before the mission starts (and during the mission). Each time a character succeeds at a requisition roll, the requisition skill gets reduced by one until the next mission. Should the requisition skill temporarily reach 0, you can no longer requisition anything.
It still represents the way you handle money, so bartering and such is also part of this skill (which is logical as that's just as important to get anything done in the Church.
Check the Items for (examples of) what you can requisition. The armoury always provides you with a standard set of equipment.
Overcome:You can use Requisition to get yourself out of or past any situation where throwing money at the problem will help, such as committing bribery or acquiring rare and expensive things. Challenges or contests might involve auctions or bidding wars.
Create advantage:You might use Resources to grease the wheels and make people more friendly, whether that represents an actual bribe (I Scratch Your Back...) or simply buying drinks for people (In Vino Veritas). You can also use Resources to declare that you have something you need on hand, or can quickly acquire it, which could give you an aspect representing the object (this only works for mundane items, and will also lower your resource rating each time you succeed).
Attack:Resources isn’t used for attacks.
Defend:Resources isn’t used to defend.
Stunts
- A present from the Armourer You can permanently choose one type of revolver, pistol or melee weapon as your signature weapon . It gets the Masterwork property and is automatically requisitioned for you each mission (for free).
- -> The Armoury would like to honour you. Requires: A present from the Armourer. In addition you can select a rile, sub-machine gun, shotgun or Special weapon, which is automatically requisitioned for you each mission (for free).
- Calling in a favour. Once per mission, by expending a Fate point, you can requisition one item for free, you still need to succeed on a requisition roll, but it will be delivered with all due haste, if it wasn't already on the way (or nearby for some reason). GM's call, but if it could reasonably be somewhat nearby, it will be.
- Money Talks. You can use Resources instead of Rapport in any situation where ostentatious displays of material wealth might aid your cause.
