You are proficient in darts, slings, slingstaff, and throwing daggers. You are also proficient in throwing rocks and similar improvised thrown weapons. When using one of these weapons, you inflict 1d6 damage instead of 1d4 damage, and you may choose to use either your Strength or Dexterity modifier when rolling for attack or damage. In addition, both the short and long range of these weapons increases by 10 feet when you wield them.

At 5th level, your attacks with darts, slings, staffslings, throwing daggers, and thrown rocks count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.
